    Dear friends,
    On July 6th, 2017, Carl passed from this life. We had spent our winter away as we have for the past several years, loving being with our children and grandchildren in Atlanta, and enjoying the familiarity and beauty of southern Arizona. We had not been home long when Carl experienced some unexpected health issues that in a rather short time, took him from us.
    He was so eager to get back into his shop after being away from it for so long. But he never had the chance to create again.
    There have been no decisions made about the business and as long as there are canes and hiking sticks, I will, for now continue selling them.
    These are the last of the Lean On Me originals.
